(This review is for delivery via DoorDash) I got the jajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodle) & chilli saeu (sweet/garlicky shrimp). Both were excellent and the portions were very generous (got 3-4 meals out of it for myself). Everything was carefully packaged with the noodles and the sauce separated to keep everything fresh. The food was super flavorful and I look forward to getting to try it in person

This place is so good and so worth the price. The portions are huge they can literally last 2 people for two meals and the prices are so good. Parking can be a bit difficult because there's not a lot of spaces and it is also always SO PACKED because it's pretty popular. The jjajangmien was delicious it was really chewy and flavorful and the gunmandu was fried really well. They're also pretty fast with the food coming out and they have a pretty limited menu which I like because it's less thinking. The inside has quite a bit of seats but the restaurant is literally always filled and they have a waitlist but honestly it goes by pretty fast.

the jajangmyeon are my favoriteee. it's so good. the price? even better. for affordable korean eats, this is the place to go. the servers here are great as well, they are very attentive. i always order the jajangmyeon along with the tangsuyuk and mandu. ordering a regular is the perfect portion for me. if you are sharing between 2-3 people a large would be perfect. lastly, the parking situation is pretty difficult since it's very limited. i would suggest parking somewhere near then walk to the restaurant if you go during peak hour.

This place is becoming one of my favorite restaurants, even though it is a franchise. And best yet, this is one of the best run businesses I have been to in a long while; congrats. See my service comments below. Quality/Quantity - #8 Tangsuyuk/Fried Pork with Sweet & Sour Sauce - This is what EVERYONE ordered the last time we were here and it did NOT disappoint. Their rice flour is just amazing, like eating mochi. Fried well and now the new hip style of eating this is with the sauce as a dipping sauce. The sauce was really thick, just the way I like it. #9 Jaengban-Jjajang/Stir-Fried Black Bean Sauce Noodle with Seafood and Veggies - This is what I wanted on the last visit, but my wife was starving and ordered all her favorites. I made sure to speak up this time, and my wife really liked my choice. Again, I really like the chewy texture of the noodles. Of course it could have used more seafood, but I might just be greedy. The veggies were also cooked perfectly, and had a good crunch to it just like their daikon radish. BTW, they had the same veggies in both dishes. Simple menu done well. Known for their noodles. Atmosphere - Young hip crowd, like me, lol. When we got here today during Friday dinner time, there were 10 people ahead of us but we still got seated within 30 minutes. Small "local" business. Well they are local, but the brand is worldwide. We have been to your LA locations. Small parking lot. We decided to not mess with them and parked in front of the street again. Do NOT park in neighboring lots, you will probably get towed... Open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm or 9:30pm. Yelp's hours differ slightly. Clean bathrooms; the men's room music was blasting/jamming! See previous video, LOL. Service - 5 stars, everyone was professional. And amazingly quick with turning tables and everything else. I watched them turn the tables so fast it felt like we were eating fast food. And they do a thorough job cleaning and setting up for the next guests. I also enjoyed watching their team work; they must pool their tips as everyone supports each other without hesitation. From the time we got here and left, they turned the dinner seating 3-4 times, congrats! Price - $38 + generous tip; reasonable for what we got. We actually have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow, LOL. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success here since 2016. Congrats on your parent company's worldwide success with 300+ locations. 21 locations in the US so far.

Been coming here for years; this is a comfort spot for me. I no longer live in the Bay but I manage to eat here whenever I visit. There are other Korean-Chinese restaurants in the area that have good jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, but this is my favorite. The breading for the pork is perfect. Service has always been good and speedy!

This place always hits that comforting spot when I crave it. The black bean sauce was delicious. I would recommend getting extra if you eat like me and like things a bit more saucing. Be careful with the seafood soup noodles, I think we accidentally ordered the really spicy one. Me and my GF, even though we eat relatively spicy, were not able to handle that. We had to stop halfway. For the fried items, I was shocked at how quickly we got served once the order was placed even though the location was so busy. The place was nice and comfy, it gets very packed so it can get fairly loud so if you are looking for a quite place to eat, this probably would not be it! I liked it so much, I have been hear 6 times in the last year or so! This says a lot since I rarely comeback to the same place within a year.

Everything was absolutely amazing!! I went with my family and everyone agreed that the food was so yummy. The wait was about 45 min on a Sunday afternoon but it was worth the wait! The food was definitely amazing comfort food. We ordered the gunmandu as an appetizer, jjamppong, jajangmyeon, and bokkeummyeon. The dishes were so flavorful and spice levels were perfect for us. My favorite was definitely the jajangmyeon and jjamppong. It was a very casual place to enjoy good food with friends and family. There is very limited parking but I would definitely come again!

Affordable, homey, and straight up delicious. Paik's noodle is a great way to eat yummy food without making your pockets cry. I came here on a Friday at 2 P.M. and the parking lot was packed! It's a pretty small lot and in a plaza that can be easily passed, so keep an eye out if you haven't been! It's near Crossiante and Damso. My friend and I got seated pretty quickly and the service was great. They came in a very timely manner and everything came out fast. Between us we ordered a Jajangmyeon and a cream saeu. The serving sizes were very reasonable and were a good portion to share for lunch. The total in the end was around $35 (which is great for the Bay). The jajangmyeon noodles was nice and bouncy, the black bean sauce was not too heavy and had a great flavor. The shrimp was well coated, it didn't feel like I was eating batter at all and the shrimp definitely was the star. The mayo was not too sweet nor heavy. If you're a fan of honey walnut shrimp, you should order the saeu. I'm definitely planning to come back to try more dishes!

First time having Paik's! The two of us ordered: -jajangmyeon large $13.35 -tangsuyuk #8 $15.45 crispy pork The noodles were good and it was my first time having Korean jajangmyeon. Definitely great to try! Flavors were good. Noodles were a bit on the softer/stickier side. The crispy pork was super crispy. A bit heavy to eat on your own. I would recommend sharing it with 2-3 people. The radish wasn't crunch which was a bit surprising. Service is quick and there is a lot of seating inside. Parking is limited and can definitely be a pain. I'll definitely be back to try out other items on the menu.
